Illness and emotion

This weekend I enjoyed a great course by Christian Flèche, a really interesting perspective on disease and emotion.
I definitely feel more and more the heartbeat of being on the right path in this accompaniment of people, working with their inner child, from the emotions. This journey that leads me to discover what is behind the "symptom" of the disease. It has been for me a very interesting experience, of confirmation and at the same time of opening. It is definitely about **unveiling the emotion, stop our thinking and start listening more and more to what our body is telling us.

Here is an interview made in the Vanguardía.

Christian Flèche, psychotherapist, father of the theory of biological decoding.

"Every damaged organ responds to a feeling".

Emotions

Diseases are an attempt at self-healing, a biological survival reaction to an emotionally uncontrollable event, so that any damaged organ corresponds to a precise feeling and has a direct relationship with emotions and thoughts. Together with Dr. Philippe Levy, Flèche created new protocols to organize a method of original emotional diagnosis and a new form of brief therapy that seeks in emotions the origin and the solution to diseases. He has published 17 books on biological decoding, four of which have been translated into Spanish. The body as a healing tool_ (Obelisco) has sold three editions.

**The body is our healing tool?

I was a nurse in a hospital in Normandy and I observed that patients with the same disease, treatment and doctor evolved very differently.

**Well, to each his own....

Exactly, my hypothesis is that diseases are a metaphor for the physical and emotional needs of our body. When there is no external solution to that need, there is an internal solution.

**Is that what disease is for you?

Yes, an adaptive solution. Every organ in the body wants to satisfy its own function, i.e., to catch oxygen, food.... If the body wants to eat, but outside there is war and it does not get it within a reasonable time, there is a shock.

**Conflict is born?

Yes, the unconscious invents a supplementary way of survival: a symptom, which is a solution or an attempt of unconscious and involuntary solution to this lived shock. In this case, the fear of starvation would attack the liver.

**Give me another example.

A person who is always in a hurry can develop a nodule in the thyroid, which sends out more thyroxine and increases the body's metabolism, that will make it faster.

**But being in a hurry is psychological.

Everything we pick up through the five senses, through the neurovegetative sensors coming from inside the body, what we think or imagine, is translated into biological reality.

**And it provokes a symptom?

If there is no concrete and conscious solution, yes. So if we hear something very unpleasant that affects us we can have heartburn. And there is something very important to keep in mind.

**Tell me.

The brain does not distinguish between the real or the imaginary. A piece of lemon in the mouth or the idea of a piece of lemon in the mouth provokes the same salivation. Depending on the particular feeling, the shock affects a precise area of the brain, visible by the scanner, an organ and an energetic reality.

**Energetic reality?

We are a unit composed of four inseparable realities: organic, cerebral, psychic and energetic. There is not a single cell of the body that escapes the control of the brain, and the brain does not escape the control of thought, conscious or unconscious; so that not a cell of the body escapes the psyche. A shock is always accompanied by a personal feeling that has repercussions on all four biological levels.

**And is it irreversible?

When we find the solution these four levels heal simultaneously. One patient had pain in her shoulder. I asked her, "Since when?" "The first time you were alone with my children" "If you are with your children, you are not alone, who is missing?" "My husband who is never there, I need to be tucked in". When she acknowledged it, the pain disappeared.

**In the course of a day we do not satisfy all our fundamental needs.

When we do not satisfy them, an emotion is born. If that emotion is released outwardly in an artistic form, through words, dance or dreams... all goes well. When the event is not expressed, it remains imprinted and the body will be the ultimate theater of that event.

**Does every conflict cause illness?

No, it must be dramatic, unforeseen, lived in solitude and without solution. When these four criteria are met, the trauma will manifest itself through biology.

**Do different emotions correspond to different body organs?

Yes, everything that has to do with the epidermis responds to conflicts of separation; the skeleton, to a devaluation; the bladder corresponds to conflicts of territory. For right-handed women, problems in the left breast and shoulder correspond to problems with the children and vice versa for left-handed women; misalignments in the right breast and shoulder correspond for right-handed women to problems with the partner and vice versa.

**Stomach and intestine?

Not having what you want and not being able to digest what you have corresponds to the duodenum and stomach. The colon corresponds to a disgusting, rotten conflict. In the rectum are the identity problems: "I am not respected and I am left aside". The kidneys is the loss of reference points. The bones: serious conflict of devaluation...

**The right thing to be healthy?

Revalue emotions, be aware of emotions and express them, i.e.: dance more often. People spend a lot of time on emotions, but these emotions are procured: soccer, cinema? A shared discomfort decreases by half, continue to share it and it will eventually disappear. A shared happiness is multiplied by two.

**Anger and violence express themselves at ease.

A man is afraid, fear produces anger, and he vents it by getting angry with his wife. When we are in contact with authentic emotion, it is transformed; when we are in contact with surface emotion, there is no change. If the man says to himself: "What I am afraid of", his fear decreases by half. You have to become aware of yourself.
