Woman's Body, Woman's Wisdom

woman's body

A few months ago I got my hands on this beautiful book "Woman's Body, Woman's Wisdom" written by the American gynecologist Christiane Northoup.

Definitely the author manages to give a holistic vision on the feminine health, considering the woman in her totality, including diverse ambits of her person and of the context in which she develops.

This book offers complete and detailed information on everything related to women's health, and combines the latest advances in medicine with alternative therapies that involve both the body and the mind. From a holistic perspective that takes into account emotions, personal development and spiritual life, it exposes the patriarchalism of the medical profession and shows the dark side of some widespread beliefs.

Christiane Northrup brings a revolutionary vision of health as a whole from which feelings, intimate convictions and human relationships cannot be separated. In this edition we will find the most current information about each and every one of the health issues that concern women, whatever their age.

This book is an invitation for every woman to feel responsible for her physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

For me it is a book that contains very valuable information about the feminine universe. It is one of those books that are on the bedside for working with women in different spaces.

Here you can see the index of the book:
